If you're having trouble raising or lowering your mainsail due to a faulty halyard ring and shackle, this upgrade will help. Welded ring and lanyard give you more positive control while hooking or unhooking the ring to the hook. Use on any boat that uses a hook at the mast head and a ring and shackle at the head of the sail. Personal preference dictates whether you choose this ring or the Murrays Aussie Ring (#01-4216).
