These pins are an upgrade form the original stock hollow flare rivet that came on the Hobie. The Sister Screws are much easier to install and remove, and they are reusable.

Aluminum rudder pins are standard on Hobie® 14 and 16 and are good for all-around, low maintenance use. Pair of 3/8" x 8" rudder pins with cotter pins.

New One piece rudder gudgeons have been produced with a slightly smaller metric hole size. If you have a 2020 and newer boat or 2020 and newer one piece gudgeons, our aluminum rudder pins may require force to install and be difficult to remove. The stainless pins are a better fit.
