This CompTip mast head also replaces the obsolete Hobie 16 mast head (no longer available) for all-aluminum mast. The original halyard will work if you move the halyard hook down to the appropriate height. Alternatively, a new comptip halyard #02-0273-60

Black adjustable lower rudder casting for Hobie® 16 is a factory replacement part. Includes rudder cam.
This is the standard lower casting on Hobie 16 beachcats since 1983. There is an adjustable screw at the base of the casting to help adjust rudder rake and a slightly different casting shape than the earlier rudder castings. The spring length is also longer on these than pre '83 castings.
