Please note: The diamond wire will be constructed with a stud that has left hand threads. Please contact Murrays if you have an older Hobie® 18, as right hand threads may be required.

The change to the left handed thread happened some time in the early 80's.

The Harken Sheave Ball Bearing 16mm is the replacement for Harken 16mm air blocks. UV-stabilized Delrin® sheave with stainless steel ball bearings.

The Harken air block offers a very high load in an extremely lightweight block. Excellent for control lines. The overall length is only 1-1/2" long. The 5/8" sheave will accept line as large as 7/32". 250 lb. SWL; 1200 lb. breaking strength. 

The 16 mm is Harken’s smallest block. It is perfect for small synthetic control lines found on high-tech dinghies. The patented bearing system uses stainless steel balls in a captive grooved race and has a 250 lb.
