    The Hobie 18 Trapeze Shock Cord is an absolute necessity because it keeps the trapeze system in place and ready for hook-up. On this kit for Hobie® 18, one hook connects to either the thimble on the trapeze wire or the adjustment line, then runs through the hull fairlead and through the eyestrap under the lip of the hull near the bow or stern for crew and skipper trapeze lines respectively. The 3/16" shock cord stretches more and slides through ferrules better than larger diameter shock cord.     Rudder Locking Kit Hobie 17, 18, 20, 21 Murrays Part# 001-3552 The Rudder Locking Kit Hobie 17, 18, 20, 21 includes the rudder spring, rudder casting screw, and the rudder plunger for the Hobie 17, 18, 20 and 21. Delrin screw is 3/4-10 thread. In many cases you can drill it out with a 5/8" drill bit and then get a 3/4-10 tap to clear the threads.
