    H18 Dimond Wire without Turnbuckle Murrays Part# 002-0494-20 Diamond wire for one side of a Hobie® 18 is constructed with stainless fork, jib roller and left-hand threaded stud. Turnbuckle not included. Please note: The diamond wire will be constructed with a stud that has left hand threads. Please contact Murrays if you have an older Hobie® 18, as right hand threads may be required. The change to the left handed thread happened some time in the early 80's.

    The Hobie 18 Trapeze Shock Cord is an absolute necessity because it keeps the trapeze system in place and ready for hook-up. On this kit for Hobie® 18, one hook connects to either the thimble on the trapeze wire or the adjustment line, then runs through the hull fairlead and through the eyestrap under the lip of the hull near the bow or stern for crew and skipper trapeze lines respectively. The 3/16" shock cord stretches more and slides through ferrules better than larger diameter shock cord.
