The red plastic vane is very sensitive to wind shifts and easily mounts to the front of a Hobie 16, 14, Wave and all the Prindle Catamarans.     Hobie 6 BRIDLE WIRE The H-16 Bridle Wire is one bridle for Hobie 16 constructed of 316 stainless steel wire to factory specifications. We recommend purchasing two bridles in order to ensure equal length and strength of your bridle wires. Wire lengths changed over the years, please select the appropriate bridle wires for your boat.     Tack Clew Plate Replacement Kit Murrays Part# 001-1016 ​The Tack & Clew Plate Replacement Kit includes one pair anodized aluminum plates with rivets to be set with a hammer. Rounded triangular plates measure 2-1/2″ by 2-1/2″ by 3″. Replacement rivets are available separately (#19-5005). NOTE: This kit does not fit the newer style Hobie 16s, does not work on post 1993 Hobie 16s with the extreme mast rake, or on older boats with an updated mast step. The way to tell is if your mast step has a horizontal mast base then it is old style, new style has a slant toward the stern.
