Hobie 16 Main Halyard Non-Comptip is a wire halyard for the all-aluminum mast (non Comp-Tip) Hobie 16 and is used to raise the main sail. Constructed to factory specifications, and includes a 2nd stopper as a reef point stopper. This is the standard halyard for Hobie 16's with an all aluminum mast which were standard before 1986. You can identify an all aluminum mast because it has no seam above the mast tang and it has a single large, 6" diameter, mast head sheave. The Comp tip mast head has 2 smaller 2" sheaves.

Note: We do not use a thimble on the lower end of the wire so that the wire can be passed over mast head sheave without the need to remove the sheave.

Main halyard line is included. It is 27' of 1/4 line.
