The fid (needle) is the only tool for splicing all kinds of rope. Selma fids are made of highly polished stainless steel. Made in Norway and patented worldwide.

Please note that the appropriate fid size will depend on the type and construction of line. The purchase of a set of 4 or 5 fids may be a better option if you are unsure of the fid size you need.
