The Forward WIP Lycra ProTec Pant is a "Game Changer"!  Imagine: Sail without concern for cut or bruised knees or shins. Perhaps the first Lycra based sailing pant, the Forward WIP Pro-Tec pant features 6mm thermoformed protection for the knees.

Integrated thermoplastic sheets are located in strategic locations such as the hips, thighs, bottom, and shins. The lycra material allows for breathability, range of motion, muscle compression, and UV protection. These pants can be worn a la carte in warm conditions, over neoprene in cooler conditions and/or under a drysuit in cold conditions.

Sometimes refereed to as "dance pants" or "fancy pants" by big boat and catamaran sailors for their unique look. The Forward WIP Protec pants feature Kevlar reinforced pads for protection against foil strikes or just general abrasion.
