The Hobie 18 Trapeze Shock Cord is an absolute necessity because it keeps the trapeze system in place and ready for hook-up. On this kit for Hobie® 18, one hook connects to either the thimble on the trapeze wire or the adjustment line, then runs through the hull fairlead and through the eye strap under the lip of the hull near the bow or stern for crew and skipper trapeze lines respectively. The 3/16" shock cord stretches more and slides through ferrules better than larger diameter shock cord. Includes four 7' lengths of shock cord, each with a plastic carbine hook secured with a cinch ring on one end. Kit is supplied with 4 cinch rings to finish installation.
