Downhaul Kit: Cascade 8:1 H20 Upgrade

The Hobie 20 Cascading downhaul upgrade kit is designed to upgrade your existing Miracle 20 downhaul system. We add a couple of cheek blocks and eye straps to your mast and provide some dyneema for the 4:1 part of the system, and two lengths of Robline Pro Racing sheet for the 2:1 cascade section for ease on the hands and nice cleat action. 

Install takes 10-15 minutes and requires a drill with 3/16 bit and a rivet set tool. The system utilizes the stock Miracle 20 pivot blocks for the downhaul and the mast base pullies. 

A cascading system provides the same 8:1 purchase on the mainsail as the stock system, but requires less line pull from your crew and a more efficient path for the line. This means less jamming and smoother downhaul action! The kit also includes a snap shackle to quickly connect to the tack of your sail for easy rigging and derigging.
