Rudder Tite Bushing

Rudder tite bushing bushings are normal wear and tear parts on Hobie rudder assemblies. They allow the rudders to pivot smoothly and the prevent slop between the rudder pins and the lower rudder castings.  They also prevent wear on the castings as they provide a buffer between the two metal parts. 

Rudder tite bushings fit most Hobie rudder castings and replaces the old Hobie nyliners. Murrays sells bushings individually.  You can use either 2 or 3 per rudder.

These bushings are compatible with Hobie 14, 16, 17,18, 21sc, as well as Nacra and Prindle rudder pins.  Also fits the Wave and Getaway catamarans with the Pre-EZ Loc system. 

The Murrays version is made to the same spec as Hobie Cat Company , but uses Delrin plastic instead of Nylon.  Delrin lasts longer and is self lubricating.

Not for use with the HC Wave / Getaway EZ Loc Rudder system. Also NOT for use with Miracle 20 rudder systems using the standard 5/16" pin size. 

Installation: They slide right into most used rudder castings, but new castings will need to be drilled out to 7/16" to install.
