The O’Pen Skiff Tiller End Plug Murrays Upgrade is the solution to a weak point on the O’Pen Skiff boat. This upgrade replaces the two standard tiller end plugs that go on each pintle. Only two are required instead of four because the Murrays Tiller end plug is solid and spans the whole distance inside the rudder housing. So you don't need two per pintle only per rudder.

To install: Drill out and remove rivets from the two or 4 plugs in your rudder assembly. Insert plug with “cap” or lip at the bearing surface, (the bottom) and drill a hole through the part and install a nut and bolt to secure the plug. Nut and bolt can be purchased separately, they are listed below in the related items section.

If you have the newer style rudders that have screws holding the end plugs in then you can just reuse those to install the Murrays Tiller End Plugs.

Use 19-3510 and 19-2510 nut and screw to install
