This ball bearing swivel by Ronstan has lower friction and higher working loads than non-ball bearing versions. It is used in conjunction with blocks and rigging systems to provide articulation and rotation. Not suitable for high-speed rotating applications.

The swivel provides a durable, high-strength, low-cost option for catamaran and small boat roller furling systems.

For kiteboarding, this Ronstan swivel can easily convert your regular chicken loop into a hefty swiveling chicken loop.
