Hobie 16 Mast Hinge Kit

The Hobie 16 Mast Hinge Kit by Murrays aids in raising and lowering the mast of a Hobie 16.  This version is much more robust than the Hobie mast step link kit. The mast hinge kit includes the heavy duty hinge, a quick release pin and a headless clevis pin. It is quick to install, use and remove.  This hinge requires complete removal before sailing. 

Note: This kit does not fit the newer style Hobie 16s, does not work on post 1993 Hobie 16s with the extreme mast rake, or on older boats with an updated mast step.  The way to tell is if your mast step has a horizontal mast base then it is old style, new style has a slant toward the stern. This kit does not work on the H14.
