Getaway Aft 2-Piece Mesh Trampoline Pre 2017

The Murrays Pre 2017 Hobie Getaway Trampoline is a 2 piece aft trampoline that comes with a 12" halyard pocket, hiking strap and robust Polypropylene mesh and UV treated Polyester thread. We also offer an optional upgrade to Teflon thread extends the life of the tramp is available for an additional charge which we recommend for boats that are primarily in direct sun, as it has better UV resistance properties.

Polypropylene mesh is the ideal material for beach cat tramps because it is light, strong and comfortable with very good UV resistance, plus it allows water to drain, so you won't be sitting in a puddle. This tramp is not made by Hobie Cat® and therefore is not legal for Hobie® Class racing.

The Pre 2017 trampoline is for Getaways with traditional bows, where the top of the bow extends beyond the lower portion.  This flip flopped a few times since 2017, but the bows are the easiest way to identify which trampoline you will need.

Teflon Vs Polyester thread: Our basic trampoline construction uses UV treated polyester thread on the seams.  We also offer an upgraded Teflon thread that has better UV resistance. The treading is the 1st thing to go if left in the sun year round. The Polyester version should last 3-5 years in the sun while the Teflon should last 5+ years.
