Premium Marine Grade Shock Cord

Compared to standard shock cord, this premium marine-grade shock cord is stiffer and more durable. It's UV-stabilized yarn cover offers more UV-resistance. The high-strength shock cord is constructed of pure latex ribbon rubber covered with UV-stabilized yarn to produce a bungee cord with good chemical resistance and weather-ability. All meaning that it will last longer than virtually all others and its perfect for use on Hobie, Nacra and Prindle catamarans.

Uses:

Hobie 16 use 2 x 8′ sections of 1/4" for the trapeze shock cord
Hobie 17 uses one 12′ sections of 1/4" for the trap shock cord.
Hobie 18 uses 4 x 7' sections of 1/4" for the trap shock cord.
Nacra rudder bungees: Factory spec is 4′ of 1/4″ shock cord but it is a common upgrade to use 5/16″
We use 60' of 3/8' in our trampoline bungee lacing kits.

Use 3/16″ or 1/4″ for trapeze shock cords. Hobie uses #RS014BLK for 1/4″ bungee cord.
