6mm Harken Bow Shackle

The 6mm Harken Bow Shackle is a forged stainless steel shackle that is polished to a high luster and are stamped with the screw pin diameter. Bow shackles are best for multidirectional loads. Their large interior opening allows plenty of articulation especially when attached to a round bail.

Sizing: 6mm is virtually the same as 1/4" and will work for all 1/4" applications on a boat.  The 6mm Harken Bow shackles are slightly larger than the 1/4" Ronstan's but they have the same pin diameter.

This is the most commonly used shackle size on virtually all Hobie, Nacra and Prindle catamarans.  Compare to Hobie Part Number #10700000 and SP150061.

The hole in the pin is to allow for seizing wire to us used to prevent the pin from coming loose.
