Where are my parts?!?! and other Shipping Delays.
The summer is picking up! Parts and gear are more available than last year, but are hitting some supply chain issues coming in and going out. FedEx has re-instated their guarantee for overnight shipments, but all other services are a best effort sort of arrangement. Shipments are arriving, but may take an extra day or two. In some cases, multiple parcel shipments are split up and arrive on different days.
Murrays Sports utilizes a number of different shipping carriers to best serve our customers and get your orders delivered to you safely. Most commonly we use USPS, FedEx and UPS. Based on the size of your parcel and the destination (and your stated preference) we choose the best carrier and service to get the parts to you. Covid has had positive and negative effects for online ordering and deliveries. More people than ever before are ordering parts online, and the sporting industry is booming. The shipping carriers are all overwhelmed, and this creates more than a few delays.
When your order ships from our warehouse, you are sent an automatic e-mail with tracking. The expected delivery date is a best guess, and often accurate! Keep an eye on the tracking, and review. It has been common over the past 12 months for a day or two delay. If your package seems to be stuck or not moving for multiple days and not get delivered in reasonable time, reach out to the carrier or back out to us and further measures can be attempted to track it down. Once again, a couple of days after the expected delivery day is an occasional occurrence these days.
