1981 Hobie 16 Gets a new life!

Much like the boat on our homepage, this boat was donated by a local sailor. The boat was missing a few key components, had the mast base and head, welded to the mast, and a fairly tired trampoline among other things. In the coming weeks and months, we'll be testing out products, developing some new ones and preparing this boat for lessons, demos and eventual sale. First up with be some oxidation treatment... We've pulled off the hulls and will use some sticker removal spray from BSI, treat the hulls with some 3m hull wash and 800 and 1500 grit sandpaper and apply some polish. We're going to do a couple of side by side comparisons on the front decks for some simple treatments as well.
